RIVA Solutions is excited to announce CEO Naveen Krishnamurthy has joined the Board of Directors for local non-profit, Byte Back. Established in 1997, Byte Back is on a mission to close the digital divide by providing under-resourced communities an equitable pathway into the digital economy. Byte Back provides digital advocacy, digital literacy, and tech certification training programs in the DC and Baltimore region, helping thousands of adults launch successful IT careers.
RIVA has supported Byte Back for many years through its award winning corporate social responsibility program, RIVAKarma. Last year RIVA raised over $20,000 for Byte Back at its annual charity event, Staying Connected. Byte Back will remain the beneficiary for this year’s Staying Connected event on Thursday, September 22nd at Archer Hotel in Tysons Corner, VA. Each year, Staying Connected welcomes over 200 tech executives for an evening of networking, food, and drinks. Last year’s event sold out.
