RIVA Solutions, Inc. has been announced as a nominee for the 2019 Greater Washington Good Business Awards

RIVA Solutions, Inc. has been announced as a nominee for the 2019 Greater Washington Good Business Awards in Northern Virginia. RIVA has been nominated for the Small Business Outstanding Citizenship Award and Naveen Krishnamurthy, CEO, has been nominated for the Executive Leader of the Year Award. These awards honor and celebrate the leadership of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits that serve as powerful champions for good in our community.

The Small Business Outstanding Citizenship Awards and the Executive Leader of the Year Award’s significance to RIVA is owed to Naveen Krishnamurthy’s personal dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and how it is incorporated into our company culture through the RIVAKarma CSR Program. In order for us to achieve these prestigious nominations, Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce asked questions on what our commitments to CSR were. Not only do we have an Executive team that is committed to CSR, we also hosted a fundraiser earlier this year for employees effected by the Government Shutdown, which had detrimental impact on so many, including members of our own team. RIVAKarma invited people to contribute to a GoFundMe; and within a couple of days, we raised over $4,000 dollars. This money was distributed to more than 30 families who were not reimbursed by the government.
