RIVA Solutions has been awarded a position on National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) ProTech Satellite 2.0 indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ). ProTech IDIQ is NOAA’s premiere professional services vehicle which spans four domains sharing an $8 billion ceiling. RIVA currently holds a position on ProTech Oceans and is excited to expand into a new domain area, Satellite, supporting NOAA in the management of space and environmental data satellites.
This contract underscores RIVA’s long-standing partnership with NOAA and its unwavering commitment to supporting NOAA’s mission. RIVA has a long history of service to NOAA specifically the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). RIVA has supported several key projects including CoastWatch/OceanWatch (CWOW) which provides easy access to global and regional satellite data products for use in understanding, managing, and protecting ocean and coastal resources and for assessing impacts of environmental change in ecosystems, weather, and climate.
RIVA will provide a range of services, including systems engineering, data analysis, and technical support. With its unique blend of science, engineering, and IT expertise, RIVA stands as an ideal partner for organizations like NOAA, offering innovative solutions that seamlessly integrate these disciplines to support and advance their critical missions. This partnership will further NOAA’s mission to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans, and coasts, and to share that knowledge and information with others.
