Sean Fitzpatrick leads RIVA’s Human Centered Design (HCD) practice and is dedicated to improving User and Customer Experiences for RIVA digital transformation projects. Sean brings over 25 years of experience in HCD and User Experience (UX), working in both the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining RIVA, Sean served as VP of HCD and UX at CollabraLink Technologies, was a Principal in Digital Experience for Booz Allen Hamilton, and lead a 75+ person HCD and UX team for Aquilent. For the past 15 years, Sean has focused on building HCD and UX teams that design engaging, user friendly digital platforms and services for the Federal government including: HealthCare.gov, HHS.gov, USPS.com, as well as complex business application experiences for CMS, NOAA, and FDIC.
Sean holds an M.A. in Human Factors Engineering from George Mason University, as well as a B.A. in psychology and communications from Flagler College. Sean lives with his wife Keely on the water in Annapolis, MD, where they spend most weekends outdoors—boating, fishing, crabbing, and enjoying everything the Chesapeake Bay has to offer.
