RIVA will work with the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE), a newly formed entity consisting of experts from industry, government and academia. The Center is responsible for design, implementation, testing, integration, and adoption/promotion of cybersecurity solutions.
In partnership with IT Coalition (ITC), RIVA has been contracted to redesign the NCCOE website as a collaborative and socially integrated portal for internal and external communication. Web 2.0 capabilities include document management, blogging, wikis, RSS feeds, and multimedia content, among others.
According to RIVA’s Business Development Manager, Farrell O’Neill, “web-based collaboration is what RIVA does best, and our team is hard at work designing an innovative public face for this critical cyber technology mission.” RIVA is responsible for creating the new website, providing operations and maintenance (O&M) support, and hosting the highly anticipated Web 2.0 collaborative environment.
