David “Dave” Acton is Chief Financial Officer of RIVA Solutions, bringing more than 30 years of financial leadership experience supporting federal government contractors. He has supported long-term growth through capital allocation, pricing strategy, workforce planning, risk management, contract negotiations, and profitability management across the full lifecycle of government and commercial awards.
Before joining RIVA, Dave served as Chief Financial Officer of ISI Enterprises, where he strengthened internal controls, enhanced financial reporting, implemented scalable systems, and supported the company’s growth. He previously spent nearly eight years as Chief Financial Officer of Suntiva, helping guide financial planning, regulatory compliance, business performance, and the company’s transition from primarily 8(a) work to a predominantly full-and-open contract portfolio.
Dave is an active Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Outside of work, he mentors aspiring finance professionals through CFO Rising, helping young professionals translate technical knowledge into executive-level impact.
