Andrew Orr brings more than 15 years of talent acquisition experience across the government contracting industry. As Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at RIVA, he leads the TA function, overseeing recruiting strategy, team development, and process improvement to build the workforce behind RIVA’s continued growth.
Andrew specializes in recruiting IT, software, and healthcare consulting professionals, including cleared and highly specialized talent. He has built and managed recruiting teams, developed scalable recruiting processes, and administered and optimized Applicant Tracking Systems to improve recruiting operations and the candidate experience. Before joining RIVA, he held recruiting and talent acquisition roles at Aptive Resources, Plateau GRP, Peraton, and Solers.
Andrew was drawn to RIVA by the people and passion he saw throughout the hiring process. A Northern Virginia native and College of Charleston graduate (Go Cougars!), he lives in Occoquan with his wife, son, and Siberian Husky. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, and rooting for Washington, D.C. sports teams.
