When you’re supporting the R&D mission of Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) in Fort Detrick, Maryland, the work is always leading edge. Our people provide multi-platform medical communications on topics, such as computational biology, medical modeling and simulation, healthcare information technologies, and operational telemedicine across multi-media, print, and social media. Senior Writers produce scientific and research materials and articles, while Website Developers will provide Web design and Maintenance Support Services.
How 2-D and 3-D Are Advancing Care on the Battlefield
Experts from RIVA’s Innovation Lab are supporting TATRC’s 2-D and 3-D animation and motion capture of body and facial rigging requirements across biomechanics, field simulation, research, engineering, and object tracking scenarios.
Graphic Modelers leverage BioFeedBack tracking, kinetic modeling, motion composing, and other techniques to ensure accuracy and realism for TATRC’s 2-D and 3-D models.
The virtual 3-D medical models can then be prototyped using the latest in 3-D printing technology. These medically accurate models help to advance care on the battlefield.
