McLean, VA – RIVA Solutions, a leading IT service provider specializing in helping federal agencies achieve optimal outcomes, is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in its continuous growth and commitment to the Department of Commerce (DOC). RIVA has been awarded a 5-year $5.4M task order from the DOC Office of Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management (OCRM) to provide comprehensive supply chain risk assessment services.

RIVA Solutions was recently awarded a prime position on Department of Commerce (DOC) Commerce Acquisition for Transformational Technology Services (CATTS) IDIQ, which provides enterprise-wide information technology services to DOC and its agencies. With a ceiling of $1.5 billion, the CATTS IDIQ aims to revolutionize DOC’s information technology services across its various agencies, promoting innovation and efficiency within the federal landscape.

This task order signifies RIVA’s first win on the CATTS IDIQ, entrusting the firm with a critical mission: to fortify DOC against evolving cyber threats through a comprehensive Supply Chain Risk Assessment (SCRA). RIVA will support the Department’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) by conducting in-depth analyses and research to uncover potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks within the supply chain.

By adhering to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines, RIVA ensures that its methodologies and practices are aligned with the highest standards of cybersecurity. RIVA SMEs will analyze supply chain interactions, identify potential points of failure, and recommend actionable strategies to mitigate risks. This involves a thorough examination of vendors, third-party service providers, and any associated products or services that could potentially compromise the DOC’s operational integrity and security.

RIVA not only supports the DOC’s mission by ensuring the integrity and security of its information technology systems but also positions the Department to proactively address and neutralize potential cyber threats. This commitment to cybersecurity excellence reflects RIVA’s broader dedication to safeguarding national security interests and maintaining the trust of the American public.

“We are immensely proud and excited to continue our partnership with the Department of Commerce,” said Rachel De Geyndt, VP of Growth of RIVA Solutions. “This contract signifies a major achievement for our team, as a Prime awardee on the DOC CATTS vehicle, and underscores our commitment to building our partnership with DOC. This win is a testament to the trust and confidence placed in our capabilities; we look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts.”
