A Veteran with 21 years of military service in the United States Air Force, Dilantyra Scott exemplifies a collaborative and forward-leaning leadership style. As RIVA’s VP of Client Delivery, she has consistently delivered results across the enterprise by fostering a culture of teamwork, transparency, and innovation. In 2024, Dilantyra led enterprise-wide standardization initiatives, implementing practices that improved transparency, reduced silos, and aligned operations with RIVA’s strategic goals. Her emphasis on talent development and knowledge sharing has strengthened program delivery and customer satisfaction, reflected in improved Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARs) scores from 4.2 to over 4.5 out of 5.
Dilantyra’s leadership also drove 129% organic growth in her portfolio, while maintaining a low voluntary attrition rate of 7% within her department. Her collaborative efforts with NOAA advanced the fusion of science and technical engineering, enhancing mission support and achieving cost efficiencies. Additionally, her robust transition-in plans have been widely adopted across RIVA, earning accolades from federal clients.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dilantyra is a passionate advocate for mentorship and community engagement. Within RIVA, she actively participates in the RIVANext and RIVA Mentorship Program, mentoring employees at all levels and sharing her expertise through leadership development initiatives. She has also served as a panelist at Women in Leadership events, where she shared insights on navigating leadership in the GovCon community. Outside of work, Dilantyra dedicates her time to mentoring young women through Gals Lead, a program she has supported for five years, guiding participants through 32 weekly sessions focused on leadership, goal-setting, and life skills. She is also a member of Women of Excellence (W.O.E.), a nonprofit that supports homeless and battered women in rebuilding their lives.
