RIVA Solutions is excited to announce that it has been a awarded a 5-year Full and Open, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to support the modernization of the NRC’s public website to the latest version of the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) in the Acquia Cloud as well as providing User Experience (UX) and content strategy continuous improvement. This contract will leverage RIVA’s iDX (integrated digital experience) solution to enhance the NRC’s digital presence, improve user experience, and provide greater transparency to stakeholders.
NRC plays a crucial role in regulating civilian use of radioactive materials, ensuring public health and safety, promoting defense and security, and protecting the environment. With a mission to deliver transparent and effective regulatory actions, the NRC has entrusted RIVA with the responsibility of modernizing its website, which serves as a key communication channel for the public, industry stakeholders, and media.
Under this BPA, RIVA will migrate NRC’s public website from the current Kentico CMS to the latest version of Drupal CMS, providing operations and maintenance support, website redesign, and content solution review services. RIVA will enhance the website’s UX, ensuring alignment with the OMB’s Digital-First Public Experience (M-23-22) memorandum and the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act’s (IDEA) principles and supporting the NRC’s commitment to high-quality, accessible digital experiences for all NRC stakeholders.
