Maria Genar is the Director of Business Development at RIVA Solutions where she leads growth initiatives, bringing IT modernization and innovative solutions to federal agencies with focus on mission success. Prior to joining RIVA, Maria held numerous positions in the Federal government contracting space; as Program Manager for a Silicon Valley startup, Program Lead at the Foreign Service, and owned her own translation and language services consultancy.
Maria serves as Committee Lead for RIVA’s Women in Leadership Professional Development Program and is an advocate for social, racial, and gender equity.
Maria has a Master’s degree in Culture and Diversity Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communicational and International Studies. Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with her grown children, 2 pups, traveling and creating new (mostly delicious) recipes.
