RIVA Solutions, Inc., announced today three new task orders on its $49.5 million single award BPA to provide Drupal web development services for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) DAITO IO/Departmental Administration Information Technology Office (DAITO).

USDA provides leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, and related issues based on sound public policy and efficient management. In order to further their mission, USDA specified a need to consolidate and enhance existing web content management capabilities to support current and future needs of their constituents. RIVA’s experienced DevSecOps experts will support DAITO in designing and developing a robust and dynamic solution for a customer-centered experience to directly aid agricultural workers across the nation built on Drupal. RIVA and our partner, U.Group, were recently awarded three task orders to kick off this exciting new initiative.

Team RIVA will be undertaking web modernization and platform development for the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), overseeing the migration from the current Drupal 7 instance to Drupal 8. In addition will provide expert support in development, modernization, and enhancement (DME), Web Application Development, UI/UX, SEO, and 508 compliance.

Team RIVA will also support the National Resources Conservation Services (NRCS), leading the creation and implementation of a cost effective approach to their website maintenance. This includes a strategic roadmap outlining key findings and actionable research driven recommendations and technical baseline support for the redesigned site.

Gwyn Cavallo, USDA BPA Program Manager was quoted,  “We look forward to partnering with USDA in their efforts to modernize and design next generation customer-centric digital experiences. Our work supporting NIFA and NRCS is just the beginning of a very exciting time for both RIVA and USDA.”
